Promotome profiling of Mus musculus olfactory epithelium

Promotome profiling of microdissected mouse olfactory epithelium, and discovery of the transcription start sites of 973 (89.1%) of the olfactory receptor genes. Most of them were uncharacterised before this study, as no cDNA was ever cloned for many of the receptors. This study is therefore an important resource for molecular geneticists studying olfaction.
