Environmental DNA metabarcoding reveals community shifts and biogeographic boundaries of marine organisms across the tropical subtropical transition in Taiwan

This project applies environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding to investigate marine biodiversity patterns across the tropical subtropical biogeographic boundary surrounding Taiwan. Seawater samples were collected from 10 locations during both summer and winter to capture seasonal and spatial variation. Using a multi-marker approach targeting ITS and 18S regions, the study characterizes community composition across diverse marine taxa.
