The United Nations energy statistics database

The Energy Statistics Database provides statistics on production, trade, transformation and consumption (end-use) for solid, liquid, and geseous fuels, electricity, and heat. The database contains data in their original units (e.g. metric tonnes, GWh) as well as calorific values to allow interfuel comparison in a common energy unit (terajoules). Data covers period from 1950. Description (consisting of summary, technical specifications, and country notes), guide to data codes, conversion factors and population data, and questionnaire on energy statistics included in file distribution. Recent years' data also issued online via the UNdata portal. Data included in print publications: Energy statistics yearbook; Energy balances and electricity profiles; Statistical yearbook; and Monthly bulletin of statistics.
