资源简介:
Datasets used in for the article entitled, "In Media We Trust: The Effect of Masspersonal Communication on Trust in the Mass Media." The study relied on an online panel survey conducted between September 19-29, 2018, by the private survey firm Survey Sampling International (SSN) (now Dynata) (Author, 2020). The sample (N = 1,493 adults) reflects the population demographics measured in the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2016 American Community Survey (ACS). The roughly 70% cooperation rate (AAPOR, 2016; CR3) is an applicable standard used when the normal metric sample invitations cannot be calculated, and thus traditional response rates cannot be reported. The average age of the sample is 48.39 (SD=16.18). Among the respondents, 51% of them are women and 77.2% of them are white. The average education level for respondents is an associate’s or bachelor’s degree (M = 4.38, SD = 1.71, with some high school =1 and post-graduate degree =7) and average household income is between $45,000 and $75,000 per year (M = 4.84, SD = 2.14, with Less than $15,000 =1 and More than $150,000 = 8).
