Storm-time Transport of Magnetic Energy and Mass Through the Magnetosphere During Solar Cycles 24--25 — Data & scripts (SC24–SC25 2D superposed epoch analysis)

This repository contains the data and Python scripts required to reproduce the superposed epoch analysis (SEA) results reported in the manuscript: “Storm-time Transport of Magnetic Energy and Mass Through the Magnetosphere During Solar Cycles 24–25”. The package provides reproducible workflows for Solar Cycle 24 (SC24) and Solar Cycle 25 (SC25), including:1) OMNI solar wind / geomagnetic parameters SEA (epoch 0 = Dst minimum; ±48 h),2) 2-D TEC (ZTEC) SEA in Magnetic Latitude–Magnetic Local Time (MagLat–MLT), where ZTEC is computed using a quiet baseline normalized per (month, year) and per MagLat–MLT bin,3) 2-D magnetic energy proxy SEA in MagLat–MLT using ΔB² = B² − ⟨B²⟩quiet (quiet mean baseline; not Z-score).
