Characterization of a NEK7-related pyroptosis gene signature against pancreatic cancer and evaluation of its potential in tumor microenvironment remodeling via regulating inflammasome complex

To investigate the biological function of NEK7 in pyroptosis of pancreatic cancer cells, we manipulate the expression of NEK7 and NEK6 in pancreatic cancer cell lines in which each target gene has been knocked down by siRNA. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 different cells. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for CFPAC and KP3 cells.
