With the assumption that the current movement restrictions due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will persist until the end of May 2020, Knight Frank forecast that residential transactions will remain above the five-year average in 2020. According to the forecast, the drop in sales over the second quarter will be followed by a gradual revival of activity in the second half of the year. While it is hard to foresee how residential prices will be impacted, house price growth is expected to recover in 2021 with London residential prices growing by six percent.
