Forty Sayings of the Prophet, [الأربعون النبوية] with a paraphrase in Persian verse, preceded by a preface also in Persian. Cf. [Charles] Stewart’s Catal. 158.
The preface begins:
صحیح ترین حدیثی که راویان مجالس دین الخ
The first tradition is:
لایؤمن احدکم حتی یحبّ لاخیه ما یحبّ لنفسه
Conclusion:
تمت ترجمة الاربعین بتوفیق من هو خیر ناصر و معین الخ
Neatly written in Nasta’liḳ, by Muḥammad Mahdî b. Ḥâjjî ‘Abd al-hâdî. Ornamented.
