Effects of exogenous 2-amino-3-methylhexanoic acid (AMHA) on tomato resistance to high-temperature stress

For RNA sequencing, tomato leaf samples were collected at three critical time points following the exogenous application of 2-amino-3-methylhexanoic acid (AMHA),24 hours after pretreatment (HT 0 h), 12 hours after heat treatment (HT 12 h), and 24 hours after a subsequent recovery period (RE 24 h). For each treatment group, the fourth fully expanded leaves were collected from twelve tomato plants per treatment group. Leaves from three independent experiments were combined to constitute one pooled biological sample.
