Potamopyrgus antipodarum ovary RNA-seq

Potamopyrgus antipodarum is a New Zealand freshwater snail characterized with multiple transitions to asexuality and coexisting, phenotypically and ecologically similar sexual and asexual populations. We generated RNA-seq data from ovaries of actively reproducing females from 3 sexual and 3 asexual lineages. Each lineage is represented with 2 biological replicates (except for 1 sexual lineage), each containing pooled tissue from 6 individuals. We used this data to evaluate patterns of gene expression associated with sexual vs. asexual reproduction.
