Methods: In order to assess the relationship between hair colour and gender. 24 human subjects were asked to self-identify hair colour and gender. Study site: The study took place in the ecology lab in the Lumbers Building at York University (at approximately 43.7735 N, 79.5019 W). The study took place indoors and was data was obtained via self-identification during verbal survey. Hypothesis:Females have a higher frequency of lighter and diverse hair colours in order to attract mates at a higher success rate. Predictions:1) Females have more diversity of hair colours as compared to males.2) Females have a higher frequency of lighter hair than males. 3) Males have a higher frequency of dark hair.
