Genetic Diversity Analysis and Seed Characterization of Nepalese Wild Rice Germplasm Based on SSR Markers
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains raw and processed data supporting the study of the genetic diversity and seed characterization of 19 Nepalese wild rice collected from eight districts. It includes seed morphological trait measurements (both qualitative and quantitative), SSR marker allele-based data, and metadata describing all variables used in the study. The dataset comprises raw seed morphological and molecular data required to reproduce all analyses presented in the study. Seed morphological characterization was conducted using standard descriptors, and descriptive statistics were computed using standard statistical methods. Molecular data consist of SSR marker allele scoring generated from 52 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers, which were used to construct a binary matrix for genetic diversity analysis. Descriptive statistics were calculated for quantitative and qualitative seed traits. Molecular analyses included polymorphic information content (PIC), allele frequency, gene diversity, heterozygosity, principal coordinate analysis (PCoA), analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA), cluster analysis, and population structure analysis using appropriate population genetics software. All input datasets required for these analyses are provided, together with comprehensive metadata describing variables, marker information, and measurement protocols, enabling full reproducibility of the study findings.
