Hawaii Volcano Geochemical Data Sets

The Bishop Museum Geology Section
('http://www.bishopmuseum.org/research/natsci/'), with the assistance of
the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory ('http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/') , has
compiled a database of published and unpublished geochemical data on
rocks from the islands and volcanoes in the Hawaiian Islands and the
Emperor Seamounts. The data has been compiled from a variety of
sources, and is organized in a standard tab-delineated format. These
data sets come from a variety of labs and are from many types of
published and unpublished reports. It should be noted that not all
data sets contain standards information, and that interlaboratory
differences may exist. A bibliography file is provided with
references for all data sets and is updated as necessary.
