COG complexes are important proteins involved in the tethering and fusion of recycling vesicles in golgi cisternae. We investigated COG complexes in T. gondii and identified all 8 subunits to be present. We also looked into different interactors of COG and identified two novel proteins of interest. Those two proteins were pulled down and examined on using IP to better understand their roles in T. gondii.
