Clinical practice guidelines on the management of status epilepticus in adults: a systematic review - AGREE assessment

We conducted a systematic review of clinical practice guidelines on the management of satus epilepticus in adults, assessing their quality, outlining commonalities and discrepancies in recommendations, highlighting research gaps.

Here are reported the data of the quality assessment. Three researchers independently assessed the quality of the CPGs using the AGREE II tool, which covers 23 items in the domains of “Scope and Purpose”, “Stakeholder Involvement”, “Rigour of Development”, “Clarity of Presentation”, “Applicability”, “Editorial Independence”. Each item was scored on a 7-point Likert-type scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). A final quality score for each domain was calculated according to the AGREE II user’s manual, and provided on a percentage scale.
