Identification of long and small RNAs bound by Aubergine in Drosophila ovaries and early embryos (CLIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, Small RNA-Seq). Drosophila melanogaster

We performed Aubergine CLIP-Seq (HITS-CLIP) and small RNA-Seq to determine the RNAs that are bound by Aubergine during oogenesis and early embryogenesis, in wild-type and germline defective mutant backgrounds, to study the role of Aubergine in germline specification. We also performed RNA-Seq to determine the steady state transcript levels in the same tissues.
