Glass ceramics from agricultural and marine waste: Sustainable synthesis and bioactivity evaluation- raw data

This dataset concerns borosilicate glass-ceramic samples prepared using silicon dioxide and calcium oxide derived from rice husks, eggshells, and seashells, combined with synthetic sodium, phosphate, and boron precursors. A reference glass-ceramic sample prepared from analytical-grade reagents is also included. The dataset contains structural (FTIR, XRD), compositional (SEM-EDX), and thermal characterization (DSC) data for all materials. In vitro dissolution experiments were performed in phosphate-buffered saline over 4 and 9 days, with post-immersion surface and phase characteristics (FTIR, XRD, SEM-EDX).
