Underlying data for the in silico study of HSP70 sequence and structural conservation across allergenic sources and its potential role in cross-reactivity by molecular mimicry. The dataset contains the HSP70 amino acid sequences analysed (with their UniProt/GenBank accession numbers), the multiple sequence alignments, the pairwise percentage-identity matrix, the phylogenetic tree and clade composition, the homology models with their structural-validation reports, and the predicted linear and conformational B-cell epitopes (ElliPro). Sequences were retrieved from UniProt, NCBI Protein/GenBank and the WHO/IUIS Allergen Nomenclature database.
