In this datafile, all syllables sang in 240 (s) of continuous song are noted for 9 outbred birds, 9 inbred birds, and 9 tutor birds. The duration, amplitude, frequency modulation (FM), mean frequency, and entropy of these syllables are noted. Inbred and outbred birds were reared together in presence of a tutor bird (tutor-tutee groups), and, thus, song learning, and song expression could be compared between inbred and outbred birds.
