<em>Mystacoleucus padangensis</em> living in Lake Singkarak, Indonesia, has high potential market demand but is threatened by overfishing and has not been successfully cultured. This study describes the first broodstock development, induced breeding, and larval rearing of <em>M. padangensis</em>.
