Data underlying chapters 4 and 5 of the PhD dissertation: Experimental thermodynamic analysis of premixed methanol combustion in marine spark and compression ignition engine

This repository dataset comprises the experimental data (raw and processed) and diagnostic analysis codes supporting the results presented in Chapters 4 and 5 of the PhD thesis, “Experimental thermodynamic analysis of premixed methanol combustion in marine spark and compression ignition engines.”<br>This part of the research develops a combustion mode analysis framework to apply to the experimental studies conducted on a single-cylinder diesel engine setup running on methanol premixed dual-fuel operation. The experimental heat release analysis has the same foundation as the one in Chapter 3 and the NG LBSI engine. The framework employed for the experimental data analysis codes is primarily described in Chapter 4, since Chapter 5 primarily expands this framework by applying it to more datasets analysing the parametric investigations on the engine.
