LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF DESIGN TERMINOLOGY IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH

This article provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of the linguistic features of design-related terminology in Uzbek and English. The study examines the lexical-semantic structure, morphological adaptation, and stylistic functions of design terms. Special attention is paid to the processes of phonetic and semantic adaptation of English design terminology in the Uzbek language, as well as issues of terminological standardization. The analysis is based on examples drawn from academic literature, design textbooks, and works by leading specialists in the field. The findings of the research contribute to the systematization of design terminology, improvement of translation practices, and enrichment of the scientific and professional vocabulary of the Uzbek language.
