Methanogens enriched from desert biocrust

Using de novo assembly of genomes, we obtained the following high-quality genomes: 3 Methanobacterium sp. (2 MAGs from the Illumina NovaSeq sequencing and 1 closed genome from PacBio sequencing) with genome sizes of 2.06, 3.06, and 3.17 Mb (respectively); 3 Methanosarcina sp. (2 MAGs from the Illumina NovaSeq sequencing and 1 closed genome from PacBio sequencing) with genome sizes of 4.22, 4.18 and 3.93 Mb (respectively); and 1 Methanocella sp. (closed genome from the PacBio sequencing) with a genome sizes 3.61 Mb.
