Gynandropsis gynandra seedlings were germinated then grown in the dark for seven days on 1/2 MS medium, 22oC. Tissue samples were harvested after 0 and 6 hours exposure to WL (100 mol m2 s1) and frozen at -80oC. RNA was prepared from samples using a QIAGEN Plant RNeasy extraction kit and libraries generated using TruSeq RNA Sample v2 kit. Sequencing was performed at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge using a NextSeq500 Mid Output 150 cycle.
