FIREWOOD SPLITTER

FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking， particularly， to firewood splitting devices. On the frame base the knives are installed with blades upwards. Guide tube attached to the auxiliary support is vertically placed above the knives. In the guide pipe with the possibility of back-and-forth movement there is a metal ram， the stroke of which is limited by the rod passing horizontally through the slots in the guide pipe and the body of the ram. Rope is attached to the upper end of the ram. Other end of the cable is fixed on the thimble， having an opening designed for the possibility of rotation of the thimble on the axis fixed perpendicular to the inner side of the winch drum shoulder. Winch drum shaft is fitted with a gear wheel in engagement with the gear wheel fixed on the low-speed shaft of the reduction gear. Gear wheel has section of toothed rim without teeth. High-speed shaft of the reduction gear is connected to the motor. Load is fixed on the rope in front of the upper end face of the ram. On the winch drum shoulder along the circle with the center located on the winch drum axis there is a row of holes for the axis mounting， which is intended for installation of the rope rotating thimble on it. Truncated cone baffle is installed on the shell. EFFECT: higher efficiency of firewood splitting. 1 cl， 3 dwg
