Comparative phylogeographic patterns and processes of the inicipient brown seaweeds Sargassum polycystum and S. plagiophyllum around the Thai-Malay Peninsula

There are 20 files in the compressed file folder. Eight files correspondingly contain four datasets of Sargasum palgiophyllum populations (mtDNA cox1, mtDNA cox3, mtDNA cox1+cox3, nrDNA ITS2) and the identified mtDNA haplotypes and nrDNA ribotypes for each dataset. The other four files contain four datasets fo Sargassun polycystum populations (mtDNA cox1, mtDNA cox3, mtDNA cox1+cox3, nrDNA ITS2) and the identified mtDNA haplotypes and nrDNA ribotypes for each dataset. The rest three files contain the combined haplotype/ribotype datasets of S. palgiophyllum and S. polycystum, together with the haplotype/ribotype dataset of S. polycystum from Hainan-Guangxi, China. There is an excel file in which describes how the sampling localities of several S. plagiophyllum populations correspond to their abbreviations used for molecular analysis in the manuscript
