Established in 2006 by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, it primarily curates data such as crystal structures, electronic structures and thermodynamic properties of materials, all calculated via density functional theory. This database encompasses millions of material structures and billions of computational data entries, serving as an important research resource for inorganic compounds and alloy materials.
