City Boundaries

Suitable Use This dataset can be used to determine the boundary of the City of Oklahoma City and used for comparison to address information or other location-based datasets. Limitations on Use This dataset may contain some minor inaccuracies due to the complexity of the boundary for the City of Oklahoma, polygon boundary alignments with other defining datasets, and differences in geographic projection accuracy. Due to these concerns, the actual geographic boundaries of the data may vary slightly from those displayed which may result in some minor comparison and/or analysis discrepancies with other datasets or location data. Data Dictionary ObjectID - Numeric unique identifier with no special meaning. City Name - Name of city. City FIPS - Numeric code used to identitfy a geographic region based on the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) of the United States governement. Shape - Geographic data in state plane coordinates (WKID 103512). Area - Approximate area of feature in US square feet. Length - Approximate length of perimeter of feature in US feet. Update Interval This dataset is updated on an as needed basis. Maintained By This dataset is maintained by the Information Technology Department of the City of Oklahoma City.
