资源简介:
Here, we present data on the chemical attributes of leaves from two plant species occurring in Restinga areas of the Santa Isabel Biological Reserve, on the northern coast of Sergipe. The methodology involved collecting leaves from three individuals of two species commonly found in the analyzed dunes: Hancornia speciosa Gomes and Byrsonima gardnerana A. Juss.
Leaf collection followed the methodology proposed by de Silva et al. (1999). In each area (continental dune and litoraneous dunes), 70 leaves were collected from three individuals of each species, always from the third node from the apex of each branch (totaling twelve individuals across both areas). Very young, dry, or diseased leaves were not collected.
The collected leaves were placed in properly labeled plastic bags and sent to the Laboratory of the Instituto Tecnológico e de Pesquisas do Estado de Sergipe (ITPS), where their nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sulfur (S), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), boron (B), iron (Fe), copper (Cu), and dry matter content were measured.
Information on the coordinates and locations of the study sites is also provided.
