Metagenomes and metatranscriptomes from polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)-contaminated sediment microcosms. wastewater metagenome

The primary goal of this study is to retrieve metagenomic and metatranscriptomic sequence information from contaminated sediment samples that are undergoing reductive dehalogenation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and/or support the growth of organohalide-respiring bacteria (OHRB).This data is relevant to improving our understanding of the growth of OHRB and supporting microbial community interactions that occur in the presence of PCBs.
