This dataset contains areas for restrictions around contaminated areas in accordance with Chapter 10, Section 15 of the Environmental Code (alt. Section 10 was worded before 1 August 2007).
An environmental risk area is a land or water area which is so severely polluted that it is necessary, in view of the risks to human health and the environment, to decide on land use restrictions or other precautions.
Within the primary, internal, zone generally stricter restrictions apply than within the secondary, outer, zone.
