RNA-seq analysis was conducted as part of an experiment investigating the effects of the phthalate, di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), on the mouse fetal testis. The goal of the study was to investigate the mechanism by which phthalates interfere with Sertoli cell function, following exposure to 0, 20, 500 mg/kg/d DPeP from gestational day (GD) 17-21. Overall design: Timed pregnant Sox9-eGFP+ mice were treated with 0 (vehicle corn oil), 20, or 500 mg/kg/d DEHP in a 6 mL/kg solution by daily oral gavage from GD 14- GD 17. fetal testes were collected on GD17 one hour after administration of the final dose. Each biological replicate consists of total RNA extrated from 1 testis or 2 pooled testes from the same litter (pregnant dam).
