Lilium regale Raw sequence reads

Four RNA-seq samples from the leaves of L. regale under B. elliptica infection for different time points were firstly sequenced using the Illumina sequencing platform. Our objectives were to elucidate the global gene transcription changes, identify genes related to resistance against B. elliptica and examine their expression profiles at different time points to further understanding of the complexity of the defense responses in L. regale upon challenge with B. elliptica. Additionally, qRT-PCR was used to validate the RNA-seq data and to assess the transcriptional changes between the resistant genotype and the susceptible genotype. These results will be beneficial for understanding the molecular mechanisms of the resistance of L. regale and other related species against fungal infection.
