Raw data of respiration experiments and micropore dimensions on lepidopteran proboscises

The raw data was collected for a study titled "Adaptations for gas exchange enabled the elongation of lepidopteran proboscises" accepted for publication in the journal Current Biology. The file contains raw data on respiration experiments with the Tobacco hornworm (<em>Manduca sexta</em>), sizes of micropores on proboscises from several lepidopteran species, and the density of micropores along the proboscis length on four species.
