To investigate the correlation between G2E3 and SUV39H2 in regulating gene expression and heterochromatin repeats DNA transcription, we generated G2E3 knockout HeLa cells line and SUV39H2 knockout HeLa cells line by the CRISPR-Cas9 system essentially as described (Ran et al., 2013), and performed gene expression profiling analysis and repeats DNA transcription profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis and repeats DNA transcription profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for sgG2E3 control HeLa cells, G2E3 knockout HeLa cells and sgSUV39H2 control HeLa cells, SUV39H2 knockout HeLa cells. sgG2E3 control HeLa cells is a sgRNA stable cell line that has not been cut by Cas9 protein. In our paper, it is marked as Parental control HeLa cells.
