This dataset contains 1,581 images of the Temple of Bel compound prior to its destruction. The reconstruction uses over 900 publicly available tourist images taken between 2006 and 2011. Photos were provided by the #NewPalmyra project, which organized the donation of thousands of images as open source objects. Images were masked in Agisoft Metashape, removing skies, vegetation, and tourists.
