Analysis of pancreatic cancer mouse models treated with SenFer

Pancreatic cancer is the seventh leading cause of cancer death worldwide. The prognosis is extremely poor because of the difficulty of early detection, and as a typical example of an intractable cancer, the development of effective therapies is an important issue. Recent studies have revealed that stromal cells are involved in resistance to treatment. We administered a new therapeutic candidate drug, named SenFer, to a mouse model of pancreatic cancer and evaluated its efficacy. As a result, the formation of pancreatic cancer in Kras mutant mice was inhibited by SenFer treatment. We performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to this mouse model to investigate which cell types are affected by SenFer in the tumor microenvironment.
