Amyloid-β deposition in murine models of traumatic brain injury: A systematic review and meta-analysis

We searched for articles published up to June 7, 2025, in the databases of PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane Library, using specific search terms related to Alzheimer's disease [Mesh], brain injury, traumatic [Mesh], amyloid-beta peptide [Mesh], and mice [Mesh]. For studies that met the inclusion criteria, we extracted relevant data regarding the first author's name and publication year, animal species and strain, traumatic brain injury (TBI) modeling method, behavioral testing method selection, and data used for meta-analysis. We also obtained data such as the mean, standard deviation, and sample size (n) of Aβ levels in mice in the model group and control group.
