Metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) from size-fractionated metagenomes of the Western Pacific Ocean water column

This dataset contains 1,515 metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) recovered from 76 size-fractionated metagenomic samples spanning the epipelagic to abyssal zones of the Western Pacific Ocean (WPO). MAGs are provided as FASTA (.fa) files. Quality tiers: 664 near-complete, 556 high-quality, 295 medium-quality. Taxonomic classification via GTDB r226. Samples were collected along a 5°N–21°N transect and separated into particle-attached (PAM, >3 µm) and free-living (FLM, 0.22–3 µm) fractions across four pelagic zones (epipelagic, mesopelagic, bathypelagic, abyssal).
