GENERIC SKI-JUMP TYPE AIRCRAFT CARRIER CONFIGURATION

Details of a generic aircraft carrier (GAC-II) ship configuration including CAD files;1:250 model-scale and full-scale available in '.IGS', '.stl' and '.tin' format are shared in this document. The dimensions of the full-scale model is in meters. The maximum length of the model-scale configuration is 1.1 m. This length corresponds to the carrier having length of 275 m when translates into sea-scale. This geometry and headwind validation dataset is available on request and the same can be used for benchmarking the various CFD codes by the prospective investigators and naval architectures who works in the ship airwake aerodynamics area.
