Parking Violations Issued in December 2010

Parking citation locations in the District of Columbia. The Vision Zero data contained in this layer pertain to parking violations issued by the District of Columbia's Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and partner agencies with the authority. For example, the District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) traffic control officers write parking violations to prevent congestion through enforcement and control at intersections. Parking violation locations are summarized ticket counts based on time of day, week of year, year, and category of violation. Data was originally extracted from the District Department of Motor Vehicle's eTIMS meter work order management system. Data was then loaded into the DC GIS, where the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) geocoded citation data to the street segment level. Data are visualized using the street segment centroid coordinates.本数据集包含哥伦比亚特区停车罚单点位数据。本图层所含的零愿景（Vision Zero）数据，均为哥伦比亚特区大都会警察局（Metropolitan Police Department, MPD）及具备执法权限的合作机构开具的停车违章罚单相关信息。例如，哥伦比亚特区交通运输局（District Department of Transportation, DDOT）的交通管控警员会在路口开展执法管控以缓解拥堵，同时开具停车违章罚单。 停车违章点位数据按照单日时段、年度周次、统计年份及违章类别，汇总了罚单开具总数量。原始数据提取自哥伦比亚特区机动车辆管理局的eTIMS工单管理系统，随后被导入哥伦比亚特区地理信息系统（DC GIS），由首席技术官办公室（Office of the Chief Technology Officer, OCTO）将罚单数据地理编码至路段层级。最终数据通过路段质心坐标完成可视化展示。
