Dataset for "Urinary tract infection in pregnancy: a 3-year experience from a training and research hospital"

This dataset contains the fully anonymized records used in the study "Urinary tract infection in pregnancy: a 3-year experience from a training and research hospital" (Dişçi F, Üntan İ). The dataset comprises 3,826 pregnant women aged 18–35 years who delivered by either normal vaginal delivery or cesarean section between January 2020 and January 2023. For each participant, the following de-identified variables are provided: anonymized patient number, age, age group, year of delivery, type of pregnancy (singleton/multiple), mode of delivery (vaginal/cesarean), presence of urinary tract infection (UTI), and elevated white blood cell count on complete blood count. UTI was defined on the basis of complete urinalysis findings (more than 5 leukocytes and/or more than 5 bacteria per high-power field). No personally identifiable information is included.
