Study of different metals after nitriding or mechanical deformation

In order to understand the mechanism and kinetics of iron ore reduction with ammonia, we will investigate a number of iron foils nitrided with and without prior oxidation. Further we will investigate mechanically thinned FeCrMnNi pieces to understand the structural changed induced by the rolling process.
