This series comprises correspondence files and establishment and incorporation records of the Research Foundation of The Royal Melbourne Hospital (VA 1048). The contain inward and outward correspondence, papers and reports concerning the establishment and operation of the hospital’s Research Foundation and its operations, including its Central Registry file, Register of Members, NIH Assurances, Human Resources department, general policies, fundraising activities, lists of potential donors and Finance Committee. Additionally, a small amount of minutes, agendas and papers detailing the decisions and actions taken by the Foundation are also included. Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Archives.
