资源简介:
The resource includes the instrument description and access to the datasets of spectral line profiles taken with the Integrated Sunlight Spectrometer (ISS) on the Synoptic Optical Long-term Investigations of the Sun (SOLIS) platform.
ISS is designed to obtain high spectral resolution (R∼300,000) observations of the Sun as a star in a broad range of wavelengths of 350 nm -1100 nm. Beginning December 1, 2006, the ISS takes daily observations in nine spectral bands centered at CN head band 388.40 nm, Ca II H (396.85 nm), Ca II K (393.37 nm), C I 538.00, Mn I 539.41 nm, H-alpha 656.30 nm, Ca II 854.19 nm, He I 1083.02 nm, and NaD1 (589.59 nm). In addition, high resolution spectra formed by the sunlight passing through an iodine vapor cell were recorded beginning January 7, 2008. Iodine spectra are over imposed on the solar spectral range centered at C I 538.00 nm.
