In the IEEE 118-bus system, buses 1, 2, 3, 15, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 43, 44, 50, 51, 52, 53, 57, 58, 60, and 67 are each connected to a wind farm of 180 MW capacity via an OLTC; the corresponding wind farm buses are numbered 119 to 138; each wind farm consists of 60 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 3 MW. All wind turbines in the wind farms are doubly-fed induction generators, and the initial reactive power output of the doubly-fed induction generators is set to 0 using a unit power factor. Buses 20, 28, 29, 78, 79, 82, 84, and 95 are each connected to a PV station of 500 MW via an OLTC; the PV station buses are numbered 139 to 146; each PV station has 10 voltage source inverters with a capacity of 50 MW.
