we report single cell expression and methylation profiles of embryonic cells (from day 11 to 31) of pig embryo development. Overall design: We obtained single-cell transcriptomes of 39 male and female pig PGCs from E14 and E31 embryos as well as 89 neighbouring somatic cells from those E14 embryos with the Smart-seq2 method. DNA methylomes of male and female pig gonadal PGCs and the neighbouring somatic cells from E35 embryos were obtained using PBAT-seq.
