Dataset for The Acceptability of Three Co-Created Peer Support Interventions for People Living with Leprosy Reactions in Indonesia: A Mixed-Methods Pilot Study
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the research data and supporting materials associated with the manuscript entitled "The Acceptability of Three Co-Created Peer Support Interventions for People Living with Leprosy Reactions in Indonesia: A Mixed-Methods Implementation Study." The study evaluated the acceptability of three co-created peer-support interventions—peer counselling, telesupport groups, and participatory video—for individuals affected by leprosy reactions (LR) in Indonesia. The interventions were piloted in an urban referral hospital and rural community clinic settings using a mixed-methods participatory research approach. Contents of the repository: • De-identified quantitative dataset containing participant characteristics and pre- and post-intervention assessment scores. Quantitative analysis outputs and summary tables used to generate the findings reported in the manuscript. Restricted access materials: Qualitative interview and focus group discussion transcripts are not publicly available. Although direct identifiers have been removed, the transcripts contain detailed contextual information regarding participants' personal experiences, healthcare settings, family circumstances, and community contexts. Due to the relatively small number of individuals affected by leprosy reactions in the study sites, there remains a risk of participant re-identification through deductive disclosure. Access to restricted qualitative data may be considered for legitimate academic research purposes. Requests should be directed to the corresponding author and may require ethical approval, institutional review, and/or a data-sharing agreement to ensure participant confidentiality and compliance with ethical obligations. Methods summary: The study employed total sampling of all eligible individuals with LR attending the participating healthcare facilities during the study period. Data were collected between November 2022 and July 2023 using questionnaires, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and intervention monitoring records. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and non-parametric statistical methods, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically using the theoretical framework of acceptability. Funding This study was funded by the Leprosy Research Initiative (Project FP21.14: Pilot Interventions for People with Leprosy Reactions in Indonesia – PIONEER).
