These records are the Melbourne Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service (VA 5265) representative's files relating to the Operations Executive Group of the Western Health Care Network and include minutes, reports and correspondence. The Operations Executive Group comprised the senior executives from various hospitals and services within the Network. This group was responsible for high level policy; managing strategic, financial and performance issues; and the possible rationalisation and integration of both clinical and non-clinical services provided by the different hospitals within the Network.
