Dense transition and free areas

Dense transition and free areas, as already defined in the PTC2 NdA of the Province of Turin by the requirements that "require implementation" (TITLE II - CHAPTER I Art. 15).For the purposes of compliance with them, PTC2 specifies the quality of the areas to be subject to specific discipline and defines the methods for determining them on the Guidelines (Annex 5, Soil Consumption); the same magazines during the formation of the Preliminary Project of the PTGM of the Metropolitan City of Turin have produced an update of the data by type and coverage of the territory confirming the specificity of the areas: a) DENSE AREAS consisting of portions of urbanized territory, also located near the Historic Center (or historic cores), with a significant urban planning, characterized by the presence of a consolidated building fabric and qualified service functions for the community b) TRANSITION AREAS consisting of portions of territory placed on the edge of urbanized areas, characterized by the limited extension and possible presence of primary infrastructure c) FREE AREAS consisting of portions of territory outside the consolidated urban fabric or built-up nuclei, characterized by the prevalent agricultural and forestry function even in the presence of minor or scattered settlements) INTERCLUDED FREE SPACES consisting of portions of territory still free but in fact constrained in urbanized areas - The associated WMS (Web Map Service) service reproduces the spatially georeferenced map with technical specifications defined by the OGC (Open Gis Consortium) and can be viewed through software tools or web viewers, using the appropriate url.
